Becca rolled her eyes once again. "If girls your age didn't like you, then why do you have a girlfriend? Obviously someone liked you enough." Upon calling her out for eating rather than socializing, she shrugged her shoulders casually and didn't make eye contact with the older boy. "I was waiting for someone I knew to show up. I mean, a few of my teammates are around... but I don't really KNOW any of them. The team captain's not here either, so it's not like I could go hang around with him.

"One of my friends is over there," she gestured to Juniper who was leaning against a wall and talking with some Ravenclaw boy, "and my best friend hasn't arrived yet. And plus... I worked up an appetite today. Can't a kid eat?" she inquired innocently. She figured it was a good argument.

"But what about you? Honestly, shouldn't you be talking to some cool big kids like yourself? Where are your 'buddies'? And wait... if you don't like Quidditch, then why are you even here in the first place? That makes no sense."
