"Well, that's very kind of you, sir, but I was very content here on my own. You didn't need to come out of your way to talk to me. I mean - I've got cookies and lemonade. What more do I need?" She grinned sheepishly, feeling her cheeks grow a bit hot, but figured he wouldn't think she was a fatty or anything. After all, she did have one of the most athletic builds around, and she definitely wasn't anywhere even remotely close to plumpy.
"Would you, err, care for some?" Becca gestured towards the plate. "They're extremely good. You should try one. As long as it wouldn't ruin your perfect complexion or anything... but even so," she continued on, not even noticing her slip-up in admitting his beauty, "you should taste one anyway! Please?" And that's when the puppy dog eyes came out. There was no way he could say no to that face. Well, unless he was heartless. And he didn't seem to be that way at all.
"And pray tell why didn't you think that I simply wanted to come and talk to you, Mm?" Kingston questioned her, smirking. He thought it was quite adorable that the girl's cheeks were turning red. He realized that he liked making girls blush or get angry. He liked seeing that red in their cheeks.
At her offer, he shook his head. "I would love to, but I cannot. I, my dear, am a vegan. Do you know what that means?" He asked her, taking out his hands from his pockets. "You see I refuse to eat anything that contains dairy products or meat products. I feel it's unnecessary." Kingston told her, raking his hair. "Again, I am awfully sorry."
