She replied begrudgingly, "Yes, sir. I'll send Forrester in now and inquire with the house elf as to why she is here. And I'll be sure to execute a precautionary interruption to prevent any boredom." Reagan removed her head from the door frame, closed it behind her and went to relay the Minister's requests to each party, starting with the house elf.
"The Minister is incredibly busy and cannot meet with you at the moment, but please follow me to my office and explain to me why it is you've come to speak with him."
Beezley's face dropped a bit. The studentsies would be so disappointed that she'd not been given the chance to hand the letter directly to the Minister. The studentsies had such high hopes, and the letter had been their one and only last chance. Maybe all wasn't lost, though. Beezley could always hand the letter to the Minister's assistance and just hope that she was honest enough to give it to him.
Beezley nodded and turned to follow the assistant into her office.
