We'll never know, but she's here and she's staying here, and if you have a problem with that, you can leave," he snapped, pointing at the door. "No one is forcing you to stay. Of course, if you continue to run your mouth I could kick you out myself, but honestly, you seem like a nice guy and I don't want to do that," he added, his eyes still glaring at him from beneath a few stray curls. "Now, are we all good? Can we get back to this flipping meeting already without staring daggers at each other from across the room?"
Whoa. He'd just threatened to kick someone out for her. She looked up at him with glowing eyes, amazed at how wonderful he was. She decided not to open up her mouth any more about anything dealing with bickering and this Slytherin boy. Cale had taken up for her, and that had meant everything in the whole world to her. Besides, she'd just been released from some locked room, and all she really wanted to do right now was enjoy being with him. Well, that and helping out the Order, as well, of course. "We're all good," Anna replied. "No more daggers, I promise."
