"Of course, what questions do you have? Thats what I'm here for." Alex responded witha grin.

How does she say this? As glorious and virtuous a transformation as it was, her Head of House did pretty much defy the Ministry, and Steelsheen is painfully aware that such information getting out will surely risk the Professor’s future in this finishing school teaching institution.

She cleared her throat and continued “I just wanted to bring you the news that the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff tables look rather splendid now. The tables and chairs are smooth and cushioned and the dinnerwares are exquisite. The students of both houses are very happy about this and very thankful.” she said with an emphasis on the last word, hoping her Head of House would understand the message. “Yes, well…” she said as she fumbled with the hem of her blouse “… that’s all I wanted to say Professor.” she said as she inched her way towards the door.
"Really?" Alex said mildly, "Well I'm very glad someone saw fit to make the preverbial playing ground equal for all students. I'm sure the person responsible would be very glad to hear how thankful they are, an I imagine she'd be very welcome." she finished with a glint in her eye.
