Nathalie tried not to roll her eyes as she read through the list of "historical" facts. This was just the sort of thing her mother would love - so of course, Nathalie felt revolted.

She overheard some of the other Slytherins speculating about the Minister's wife's intentions to "mother" the students. To Nat, being "mothered" meant being sternly corrected for the slightest fault, and being forbidden to do anything fun - so in a way, it was already happening!

She began to scribble a few notes, careful not to let her grin show. She certainly wasn't laughing at Steelsheen, but a smile at the wrong moment was so easily misinterpreted.

However, she couldn't resist making a little dig at the Minister. Putting on her most innocent expression, she said,

"So the minister stayed faithful to Clara Belle all these years. How terribly romantic."

She only barely managed to suppress a giggle, and hoped her tone hadn't been too ironic.
