Anna stared up at the gate in wonder, almost like it was some magnificent creature she'd been out on a journey for years to find and had just caught the first glimpse of its being. She wanted to cry. This was, well, her home. She also found herself wishing that Cale would have been here to see this, too. He'd never even been given the chance.

Stupid ministry. Maybe the boy's class would get to do this very same thing, though. Who knew what Professor Lainey had in store today, though. This was one of the most confusing classes she'd ever been to. Anna suddenly had the strong urge to burst through the gates and run home as fast as she could...and never look back.
