Callie digged into the three desserts, taking a little bite of each and going in a pattern. It was all very yummy and she decided just to say thanks, without the toast of course, "Thank you Headmistress." she said and then continued on with her desserts.
As she started to finish each one off, she couldn't over hear IssyC, Becca, the girl who had passed the salt, and some other Ravenclaw girl whose name sarted with an M. They were talking about the house elves popping in and out of the room with the food.
IssyC has started talking about letting Melly talk to one, and she figured it would be later since Rae had just mentioned it's rude at a formal dinner to talk to them. Callie herself had never actually talked to one and didn't know if she would ever.
