Well, she didn't put her elbows on the table, that was good. And usually she sat up straight. But she was awful about slipping her shoes off and shouting down the table, so she'd work on that. And, as her friends had seen last summer, she was good at excusing herself and the table. That was all taught to her by Tomas.

"Ooops," she mumbled, grinning to her friends. "Gotta keep my shoes on. But they're so heavy and my feet don't even touch the groooound!" For a moment, she pouted, before remembering that princesses didn't pout.

Then she grinned at Melly, blushing profusely. Her? Beautiful? If only. Giggling softly, she bit her lip. "Do you think so, Melly? Beautiful, I mean?"

Would Samson think that...?

Ag! No! She was not allowed to think of him. With a firm, determind nod, she thrust her chin up, folding her hands in her lap and smiling demurely. Now she was like a lady.
Melina beamed again as Issy blushed. Finally she was not the one who had turned pink or red. Finally she was the one watching someone else get that colour on her cheeks. And that did not only make Melly feel quite fusy on the inside, it also made her let out a giggle. "I do! If I didn't, I'd have kept my mouth shut," She nodded, her eyes seeming to twinkle more and more at each passing second.

She then pouted, looking down at the floor. "Meh. The professor could have got some smaller chairs, no?" She sighed, trying to block the thought that told her that if she was in a smaller chair, she'd look ridiculous. She already did though, trying to touch the ground and not being able to and all that.

As a napkin misteriously appeared in front of her, Melly opened her mouth in an awe. Truly, she would never get used to magic. It was so... magical. Yes, that was the only word she could find to describe magic: magical. Lame but true.

Holding it with both her hands, she put on her lap. "I've heard of these," She nodded to herself, looking down at the serviette. "They're used a lot in muggle restaurants," She nodded again, this time peeking at Issy.

I gotta go back to the muggle world,
they're gonna
try and tell me this wasn't, that none of this happened,
but you know what? It
was real. It did happen.
We spent time here. We made
friends here. That's a part of us.
Cause
Hogwarts is bigger than any of us, of any of it's founders,
and it's going to be around long after we're gone.
Maybe we'll see our
kids come here one day.
That's the thing about
Hogwarts.
No matter
how long you're away from it, there's always a way back.
