Jenesis carefully made her way in to the Owlery. She had already finished her Potions Homework and turned it in. Now she needed to send her letter before she chickened out. She hoped Gramma and Daddy could come and get her. She needed to go home. She was not like the other girls here and she was scared. She read the letter one more time before sealing it up.

Dear Gramma,

I lied to you and I am sorry. I am not doing good here at school. My eyes have turned gold 3 times and I don’t know how to make it stop. I was not mad at all. The first time it happened was when my friend Aly got sick. I was worried about her and when she started looking green, like she was going to be sick. I started feeling a little sick and said someone should get a bucket for her. Then a ‘pop’ happened and a bucket fell out of the air. Then a little later I was upset because she had not been seen by the nurse yet and she had not woke up and a wet cloth ‘popped’ into my hands. The worst was today in potions class. The professor gave us cookies to eat and everyone started acting funny and I started to feel funny. Ms. Sophie asked us to name a potion and I said a calming draught, because Momma is always giving it to me and ‘pop’ one of them fell to the floor in front of me. Our house prefect is mad at me cause she thinks I’m trying to get Gryffindor in trouble, but I’m not. I promise. All anyone cares about is house points and I can’t talk to the teachers cause they will take house points away. What’s happening to me Gramma. Am I a freak? I don’t want to stay here anymore. I want Daddy to come and get me. I don’t want to be a witch. I want to be a girl and have friends. I need to go home. Please come get me. I’ll be good if you and Daddy let me go home. Please. Make me not a witch any more.

Jenesis called for a school owl and a white Snowy Owl came to her. "You're beautiful." she said to the owl as she handed it a owl treat and scratched it on the head. The owl held out his leg and Jenesis tied her letter to it. "This goes to my Gramma at the Ministry of Magic." Jenesis said with tears in her eyes. She wiped her eyes with her had and stated. "I hate crying!" She watched the owl leave and she slowly made her way to her common Room.
