"But thanks for listening." she added with another smiled as she turned to walk away.
"You're welcome, Feel free to drop by my hut at any time to let me know how you went." Sophie called.

"I'm sure you all have seen that things are not as they were last term, and I apologize for how abrupt this all is. I assure you that I would not have separated myself and my daughters from their father willingly, and we are working steadily to see if..." She glanced at the Ministry-provided professors. It was certain that if she said a negative word about her brother and the school that she'd be replaced, and then who would stand up for the rights of these girls.
"We are working for your good," she finished lamely. "I want to remind you that the professors of old," she stressed that, "are on your side and will be here for whatever needs you have. I'd like to welcome many new staff members too numerous to name, and I'd like to wish you luck this term."
"I DO regret to inform you that we are being held to the strictest standards as professors, and this causes a rather unfortunate need to deal harshly with any rule breakers. You can be unhappy about this turn of events, but rules must be followed to the letter and you must be respectful to the staff. The Minister has decreed that suspensions from the school are justified for outlandish behavior. PLease do not make me be the villain in this... event." She sighed. "And now... eat."
She sat rather too hard and pressed her face to Lainey's shoulder.
Sophie turned to hear Rae's speech. The ministry professors were sure going to be a pain. She already didn't like them. They were going to drive the poor girls mad, well not if she couldn't help. The girls were welcome to visit her hut at any time.
The ministry needed to stay out of it. Hogwarts didn't need any
improvements as far as she thought. Sophie frowned slightly, feeling awful for Rae.

Chuckling, she nodded. "I am, and I do love my books. I don't know what I would do if I were unable to have access to a book. I don't think it would be a pretty picture."
Knowing that it would be better to speak about the situation later, Angela settled down once more.
"Oh I know. I've been stung a couple of times and I must say, it is the best feeling ever. Almost like you are as light as a feather." Sophie said, with a sly smile as she remembered her previous experiences with the billywigs.
Sophie grinned. "Oh I don't think I want to see you without access to your books. I have to admit that I learn more form practical experiences rather than books, but it is great to rug up and read a good book once in a while." She smiled.
Sophie nudged her head over to the ministry teachers and rolled her eyes at Angela, hoping they'd she get her hint. "Not very pleasant, I must say." She smirked.

Callie laughed. "I'll have to stop by your class one day and watch . . . from a distance of course. I'm not one for getting too close to Magical Creatures, I've ummm... never had much luck with them. I was once bitten by an angry hippogriff, let me tell you . . . after I hexed that thing it never bit anyone again." Callie blushed, realizing she had probably shared a bit too much. "But that was a long time ago. I'm much more disciplined now. I hardly ever use hexes, unless they're really needed..... well hardly ever." Callie began to trail off, smirking at the thought of herself hexing a student she might lose patience with. "I guess I'll have to work on that bit" Callie thought to herself, realizing she was going to have to be a lot more patient with these students then she normally was, she couldn't imagine the Headmistress would be too happy with her if she hexed a student. Then again, this wasn't Hogwarts, perhaps a little hex wouldn't hurt...."
"Yes yes. It is fascinating and I agree. Such a shame that it isn't so widely recognised as it should. If you ask me, I believe it deserves a lot more recognition than it gets. Don't you worry, I've had my fair share of injuries. I just happen to have an excellent healer." Sophie laughed. "Oh! You are more than welcome to! Stop by any time, but don't be silly! When I'm through with you, the angriest of all hippogriffs will love you. It is never about luck, just talent." She winked. Sophie's mouth nearly dropped to the floor when she heard the next thing Callie had to say. "You HEXED one! How could you do that to such an innocent creature?" Sophie said with her voice rising a little too much that it should. She shock her head is disgrace. "I think you do need to work on that a little bit." She mumbled, a bit embarrassed that she had lost her temper.

Dion drummed her fingers on the table while nodding in agreement to what Xylia had said, "Cooper is a great man."
Sophie looked over to see two of the ministry giving students a hard time. She has been listening to their conversation and had finally had enough of it. "Excuse me ladies! Don't you think you are being a little harsh on the girls? It's only the first day back and they are very confused with the new arrangements of the schools."
