Professor Shackleton looked quizzically at Reese as she accepted the note. With each line she read, her eyes grew larger and larger, while her jaw dropped lower and lower. She snapped her head up with a look of shock, anger, but mostly disappointment, upon on her face. She glanced to her right at Dion and Wystan, whose interaction she had just watched with several Hufflepuff students, and decided it best not to holler at Reese for her behavior. Instead, she rose from her seat, walked around the front of the table and rested her hand upon Reese's shoulder, guiding her away from the ear-range of those at the staff table.

She wasn't sure what type of punishments they would devise, but she knew that if she did it herself, the punishment would be appropriate and not excessive. "I'd like you to report to my office tomorrow morning and you will begin your first punishment. And if you ever, EVER do this again, I can assure you suspension or expulsion will be appropriate.
