Kristi jumped up and ran over to Snape as soon as emerged from the door. She stood looking up at him, searching his face for any sign of what had happened within the locked doors of the Hospital Wing. "What happened? Are you okay? Where's Marcella?" she asked, the questions rolling off her tongue before she could stop them.
Snape looked down into the eyes of his daughter. She was genuinely worried. At one time it would have surprised him but, after Marcella had come into his life, he had noticed her concern for him more and more. "There was an incident. Marcella was badly injured but, she'll be fine," he said, walking off, back toward the dungeons.
