Her robes were immaculate which was very surprising as she seemed the type for finger painting and she wore a lapel pin bearing the Slytherin coat of arms.
She beamed up at everyone at the staff table and then walked along the front of it, holding out her plate of cookies. "Sophie Melita, new potions professor. Well, not really new as I've taught potions at Hogwarts before but, new to Belle's School of course," she giggled. "So nice to meet you. Have a cookie? I bake them fresh every day, you know. Now don't go asking me for my secret ingredient."
"Oh! A student! How are you dear? Doing okay? Here, have a cookie," she beamed at the student who was making a ruckus, not that Melita noticed. Quote:

It's really quite thrilling when you consider that at any moment.... KABOOM!!!!!," Melita dramatically shouted her impression of a cauldron explosion, much like an overly dramatic storyteller might do so. She giggled and then smiled sweetly. "Not that I've ever exploded cauldron myself, of course." Linnea glowered at the student who had dared to come up to the table and demand answers. She demanded them! And then refused to leave when she had so clearly been dismissed. As the librian handled the issue, Linnea choked back what would have been her retort to the little....girl. See? She wasn't so much like her grandmother.
Her smile did falter a bit. Melita had returned to Hogwarts. With her cookies in tow. Oh dear. Linnea nodded, "Hello...Melita," it was hard not to add "professor" on to that, but Linnea had managed. They were equals now. HA! Then she jumped at the dramatic 'kaboom' of an exploding cauldron. "Are you glad to be back....in a way?" She asked the cookie-laden lady.
