Angela looked on as many students clamored in front of the table, inquiring as to the current circumstances. She could imagine the confusion.
Pulling her gaze from the students, she noticed a woman stepping up to the staff table. Ah! A new staff member.
Offering up a friendly smile, she leaned over in her direction. "Hello!" She greeted. "Madame Angela Kohan, librarian. And you are?"
Sophie smiled brightly as a women approached her. "Hey! It's a pleasure to meet you. I'm Sophie Brooks, the new Care of Magical Creatures Professor." She said and a feeling of relief came over her. The staff seemed to be very warm and welcoming.

As she made her way to the staff table, the butterflies began to churn in her stomach. This was a whole new experience for Callie and she really wanted to make an impression this term. With each step closer, she took a deep breath. "At least it's all girls. Callie told herself. "It will make for a much easier term. After all, girls are much more insightful . . . aren't they?"
Before she could answer herself Callie was at the table. She smiled at the other staff sitting at the table already. "Excuse me, is this seat taken?" she asked a woman who had been staring off at what appeared to be the Gryffindor table. Not waiting for an answer, Callie pulled the seat out and sat down anyway, neatly adjusting her turquoise robes as she did.
Looking down the table at the other Professors already assembled, Callie nodded to them and began to introduce herself, "Hello. I'm Calista Hawkins, the new Charms Professor. But please, call me Callie."
Sophie looked up at the sound of another voice, her eyes fell upon another women who looked close to her ages, maybe a little older. . "No, go ahead!" She said, giving her a warm smile. "I'm Sophie Brooks, the Care of Magical Creatures Professor." Sophie said aloud, to the other ladies starting to take their places at the table.
