Callie entered the hall, excited at the idea of actually being a professor. Half way down the aisle, she stopped and soaked it all in. "Well, not exactly Hogwarts as I had hoped, but I think I can manage to make myself at home all the same." she smiled.

As she made her way to the staff table, the butterflies began to churn in her stomach. This was a whole new experience for Callie and she really wanted to make an impression this term. With each step closer, she took a deep breath. "At least it's all girls. Callie told herself. "It will make for a much easier term. After all, girls are much more insightful . . . aren't they?"

Before she could answer herself Callie was at the table. She smiled at the other staff sitting at the table already. "Excuse me, is this seat taken?" she asked a woman who had been staring off at what appeared to be the Gryffindor table. Not waiting for an answer, Callie pulled the seat out and sat down anyway, neatly adjusting her turquoise robes as she did.

Looking down the table at the other Professors already assembled, Callie nodded to them and began to introduce herself, "Hello. I'm Calista Hawkins, the new Charms Professor. But please, call me Callie."
