Quidditch talk was definately contagious - of course it was, it was the most fantabulous sprt in the whole entire world! - and with a grin Clifford turned to listen to the other guy, who apparently knew the new Captain.

"Captain Desdemona Abendroth?" He blinked in surprise. "How on Earth am I meant to remember a name that bloody long and confusing?" By the time he learnt how to say her name, the Quidditch season would be over!

"Does she really whip people?" Was that even allowed these days? "If she's going to whip us maybe separate boy and girl teams would be a good idea." He mumbled thoughtfully.

Whatever that even was. It sounded like an energy drink. "I might be a fair flyer.. but I have no leading skills." He shrugged.
