No. Was he acting like he was above Nicoli? Yes. But he wasn't going to say that outright. Not yet anyway.
"True," he said, recovering from his laughing fit. "Some of the cases in particular come into both of our fields. Not to mention we're both short of staff. Some seem to think it's alright to be fashionably late for work."

At least he didn't use the stuff they had here. The Conjured Coffee was much, much better.
