It can be a bother, sometimes, being muggle-born. No, it’s not that I’m not proud of my blood status. I don’t believe in wizarding stereotypes, not at all: blood can never be a judge of talent. But I get a little confused, sometimes.

I mean, Ronald Weasley is a cute first-year. And his freckles are… cute. And I am just – well, just plain, bushy-haired Hermione Granger, with her books and her large, brown eyes. What if he thinks muggle-borns aren’t good enough to marry?

I must find out, one of these days.
