The Leaving Feast was over, and the Hogsmeade train would be leaving shortly. Ginny supposed she should be up in the Tower, making sure all her belongings were actually stowed away. She did an amazing job of spreading her books, clothing, and parchments all over the Common Room, and she also had a surprisingly large collection of other people's socks, but Ginny wasn't in the mood to trifle with such non-important things on her last day as a student.

The most detestable words in the world right now were "What are you doing after Hogwarts?" Followed closely by "I dunno." She was 17! Why did she need to know exactly what she wanted to do with herself right now? Why couldn't she just go and live with her parents and figure out what she liked and wanted to do in her own time? Ginny shook her mane of red hair... that idea wasn't particularly appealing either. As much as she loved her parents, she didn't want to go back and live in the place where her mother still wanted to tuck her in and her father still patted her on the head and called her Sunshine.

Ginny strolled past the library, seeing a few students making some last minute deliveries of overdue books, when she noticed Luna Lovegood on her hands and knees in the corridor ahead, looking behind a statue. "Luna?"
