In a new interview with
The Advertiser Dan Radcliffe talks about his love for Australia, his interest in cricket and a nearly romantic encounter at an Australian Film Institute ceremony.
Quote:
"There was one girl there, oh my God, she had these eyes that just looked at me like she wanted to pounce on me," the star said yesterday. "She stared at me all night and I was going to get her number and then I couldn't find her.
"I must have walked around at party for an hour looking for this girl like some sad, pathetic dweeb but it would have been so worth it."
When asked if this newspaper could help find her, Radcliffe blushed and regretfully shook his head. "I don't know, I don't know her name, I can't remember her name. It was one of those things but she was stunning."
UPDATE: Dan's publicists have released this
statement, in regards to the nationwide search for this girl;

"(Radcliffe's comments) were meant in jest, but sadly been blown out of all proportion," his London-based representative Vanessa Davies was quoted as telling New York's Daily News.
