Ivan reappeared at the edge of the scene, having done his duty by his boss. He walked up and said to the general area, "Everything under control? Everybody happy with a new memory? Peace and order restored?"
Ah, yes, it was good to be the boss. Except for those uncomfortably long meetings and reports. Lots of reports...no, no, it was still good to be the boss, in spite of the reports.
He peered around the room. Were any muggles looking too aware for their own good? A true obliviation should leave them practically drooling with their own temporary confusion.
