I took my 4 and 7 year old children and neither one of them had any problems with the movie. Neither child had nightmares nothing. They in fact loved the movie and cant wait to see it again. As it was rated PG and I am the parent and knowing the kinds of movies my kids enjoy watching (ie Jaws, Twister, Tremors, Starship Troopers) I decided that my children would be able to handle this movie and they were. I think it totally depends on the child and the parents. But both of my children have already sunk their teeth into much nastier movie fare than POA.
