Pretty cruel, blackmailing someone into marriage, if you ask me. But that's a man for you." Kerry smirked.

Claudian was taking notes on what some of the other students were saying. He stopped dead in the middle of it when he heard Kerry's commentary on men, pouting slightly offended.

"Leave it to a man to think of himself and try to kidnap a mermaid."

And, then she did it again! 'G'ah!' He was now, officially frightened of Prefect Brandywine. Until he heard her shriek. He turned around in his seat and watched as a chittering animal that some were saying was a monkey, which one way or another had gotten itself into Kerry's bag, had most of the students as his captive audience. Thank goodness it was only a monkey. He was starting to wonder if it might've been a dark creature snuck into the room by Clark himself to give the students first hand experience.

These people are transformed by the experience. When they return to earth they are different, serene and strangely remote from the world around them. They are more beautiful and have become wealthy. She also denies children to her favourite women and they are said to be her land-dwelling representatives... so very beautiful but barren women are often called Mami Wata in Africa."

Oh, she was going to fit right in with his grandmother and aunts.
