His attention was caught by the words "This boy" he turned to the girl next to him and glared at her and then looked up at the teacher. "Excuse me Professor but I do believe that I did not have any part in this little incident. All I have done this lesson is sit down in my chair and take my books out and yet this girl seems to think that this is a crime," he said politely, smiling innocently.

He took another chance to glare at the girl next to her again. How dare she try and drag him into it, just because she was getting in trouble. She had no right to try and get him into detention. If anyone was going to detention it would either be none of them or all of them since basically, if he was going down he was taking them, especially her, with him.
