And, for the rest that didn't fit into those catorgories you were Hufflepuff. How ridiculous!
Jasper thought himself as brave, clever and cunning. What house would they put him in then? Slytherin. Unfortunatley. With all the mortals who looked as if they had gotten away with murder, or beating up a little kid.

The good news was that he was with his sister, Rosalie. He was so grateful that he wasn't in Slytheirn on his own. That would be saying something. He sat with his legs crossed on his bed and watched the other Slytherin boys sleep, he couldn't sleep. He missed it very much.
He decided instead, to go down to the common room. Surely, no one would be there at this time in the morning. He walked down the steps to see Rosalie worrying over some homework.
"Not as easy as Forks high is it?" He said quietly to her, not to wake the other students. Jasper was also struggling on his homework. They had never done this type of work before. Magic and wizards was a whole new thing for them. He sat down opposite her and watched her fiddle around with parchments and a big fat transfiguration text book.
Hearing her brother walk down the stairs from the Slytherin boy dormitory, she let a small smile creep on her face, despite her frustration with her homework. "Hey." She said softly, knowing he would be able to her her. Closing the last of her books shut, she leaned back into her armchair and looked at her brother.

Rosalie was very glad that Jasper had been placed in the same house as her. The blonde vampire didn't know if she could deal with all the new changes in her life without someone that was close to her. Listening to his question, she smiled. "Definitely not." She replied, eyes roving around the green and sliver common room.

On her lap was the transfiguration homework that she was trying to complete. She had already foreseen that she wasnt going to do greatly at it and was trying to at least get a good grade. The vampiress looked up as she heard a door open and close. She watched as Hermione Granger appeared. That was a girl in her class so she remembered. Alice watched with interest as she girl went and sat down.
Shivering slightly, Hermione had the sense that someone was watching her keenly. Trying to be subtle, she glanced up from her book, brown eyes sweeping over the common room that was getting fuller each minute. There. By the window was one of the new transfers. What was her name? Alice Cullen. The dark hair girl was now joined by her older brother, Edward.

Hermione studied them curiously. She didn't know too much about them, just that Remus Lupin had recruited them so they could fight alongside the Order when the time came. Realizing it was her staring now, she quickly looked away.

A strong smell hit her and Rosalie wrinkled her nose slightly. She knew what it was. It was the smell of a werewolf in the room. Turning her head slightly, she saw Leah Clearwater sitting in a nearby armchair. Sure, they had learned to live with each other under such close quarters but that didn't mean they were civil to each other at all. Rosalie nodded slightly in a sign of acknowledgment but made no other move to show that they were friends.

Jasper heard someone in the common room. He hadn't notcied the werewolf sitting there by the fire. He took a glance at her and nodded. Hopefully, he wouldn't cause an argument between them. They were past that now.

Jasper turned back to Rosalie and picked up her textbook. "To be honest, all of this seems really boring. I don't really want to know how to turn an owl into a goblet .. or.." He said whilst turning the page. "Or turning a beetle into a button." He sighed.
"I guess it's quite interesting. But, they seem to go a bit in depth with it all"
Turning her attention back to Jasper, she nodded in agreement. "It does seem interesting but it's absolutely brutal trying to catch up with the others. They've been learning how to use a wand...well since they were around eleven years old and here we are, 7th years and I can't even do a basic spell." Rosalie grumbled. She wasn't used to being last in the class and it frustrated her when she couldn't do basic things that one of the younger kids could do.
