Professor Shackleton called the students to gather around the Gobstones court that she had constructed in the Arithmancy classroom. She explained quickly, "Last term we played the Snake Pit version of Gobstones in our tournament, but this term we will be playing Jack Stone. In order to win a point, you must roll your Gobstone closer to the Jack Stone than your opponent. Please read the rules before we begin and be very familiar with them.
