Juniper looked at the groundskeeper. He appeared to have a problem with all the students who had come to introduce themselves. She then stared at the boy who said ladies first. Why was he being polite? She had never met a polite boy before. "Thank you," she said, ducking her head as she stepped inside.
"Moss? There's moss by the coffee table?" Juniper said. Imagine. Moss, inside. She looked around to try to see the coffee table and its moss. She only hoped there was no coffee. |
