Theres really not a good place to put a divide line in though. Maybe after Dobby is killed. Either when Ron leaves or when Dobby dies.
Lol, "Previously, on Harry Potter..."
When was the last movie that had an Intermission? Did Titanic have one?
But then that gets ungodly long for one movie.
You took the words right out of my mouth. Ron leaving is the PERFECT place to leave off! I love MuggleCast, but I disagree with their idea. Plus, Ron's departure is basically in the exact middle of the book as well. It would be great.
I think that you're right in saying that Malfoy Manor would be too intense to start the film. If they should go through Malfoy Manor, you're right...End with Dobby's death.
And, once again, you read my mind. I think there should be an Intermission. I think it might be too long for some younger kids, but would it be appropriate for younger audiences anyway? It's HP...people would go and stay. Plus, concessions is where the movie theatres make their money. An intermission would be perfect for them. I'd prefer an intermission.
But if they need to do two films to do the book justice, I won't complain. I'm so glad David Heyman and David Barron are true fans. He actually uttered the words:

"But the real positive, if we were to do that, would be that we wouldn't have quite the battle we always have of 'How do you compress all that book into just over two hours of screen time?'
"It would be brilliant not to have to cut anything."
I really, really hope they stick to that...DON'T CUT ANYTHING!
