Chapter 54:The Engagement Party

Soon enough everyone had heard the news of the 2 engagements. Mrs. Weasley insisted on throwing an engagement party right away. Pretty much everyone was invited. The Order Of The Phoenix came, some people from Hogwarts and of course Dumbledore. Since the Weasley house wasn’t fit for that many people, Mr. Weasley had luckily attained a second tent like the one from the Quidditch World Cup and put it up outside the house. A hundred people maybe even more could fit into that tent. Of course there was wonderful food courtesy of Mrs. Weasley and all the girls who attended the party were in awe over Hermione and Ginny’s rings. “You guys must be so happy.” Lavender said. Ron was looking over at the girls at that very moment, “I can’t wait till I get engaged!” Lavender said loud enough that it carried over to Ron’s ears. She was looking at him when she said that and he just had a look of pure terror on his face. When Lavender saw this, she stormed off while Ron went after her. He kept apologizing but she didn’t care and started throwing jinxes at Ron which he dodged. “So Harry, finally ready to settle down?” Asked Seamus. “With Hermione? You bet I am.” Harry replied. Hermione smiled at Harry and blew him a kiss and he smiled back at her. “May I have a word Harry?” Professor Dumbledore asked. “Sure sir.” They had to leave the tent for some peace and quiet. “You and Ms. Granger are going to be exceedingly happy together.” Albus said. “We already are, but I know what you mean.” Harry answered. “You know Harry I have always known you two would get together eventually.” Dumbledore said with a twinkle in his blue eyes. “You did?” Harry asked surprised. “Oh indeed I did. I knew from the very first moment I saw you two together.” Dumbledore responded. “Amazing” Harry muttered under his breath. “Did you think that my only talents were knowing when someone’s lying to me and being able to see you under your invisibility cloak?” Dumbledore asked trying to stay modest. “You always seem to amaze me. How come you never told me?” Harry questioned. “I never told you because that would have ruined it for you. You had to discover that magic on your own. The magic of True Love.” He said.
