Emmy now stood off to the side, in the kitchen. Purposely further from the 'excitment' but she was being observant nonetheless. She didn't know what to do or where to go from here, and it killed her that Benjamin was so happy but..so clueless and she would have to be the one to shatter that. His joyfulness was bringing the faintest smile Emmy could muster to her face. As if her hand had a mind of its own, the young womans arm crossed over her stomach; protectively almost.

It wasn't just herself, Benji and Ax she was hurting without even meaning to, it was three little ones too: Lainie Alona Lawley and unborn twins. Which admittedly, made things even harder.

Hearring the door bell snapped these thoughts away, momentarily atleast. "I've got it.." She murmured, strolling from the kitchen. Emmylyne paused though, hugging Benjamin from behind, "I've missed you, by the way. You should go get cleaned up, Me and Eli will be starting dinner in a moment." She spoke in a soft tone, releasing him as her voice trailed off and went to get the front door.

"Well, it's brilliant to have you back Benj. That's what counts, right?" Elissa asked, hopefully. There was no tention in the air and she prayed it stayed that way. And, for Emmy not to become physically ill would be another prayer on her list, though that one looked very slim.

Truthfully, Eli was both amazed and ecstatic to see Benjamin (Even if it wasn't written on her face, that was nothing knew, that was the childhood Molina everyone knew her as). It would be tough, getting everything out in the open and keeping awkwardness from their aged circle but she believed they could all work it out; the had all been through SO much together, always together, and Eli would be furious if things like this..things out of their hands, broke their sacred life long bonds of friendship. Even in history, there was absolutely no one that came to mind that could say they had a group of friends since the age of five that had gone through every little thing with each other..which was exactily what they did. It wasn't just a circle of dear friends, when she was a child; they were her family, and still were no matter what. All three boys, and one girl.

"Emmzie's right, must get dinner on the stove!" Eli chirped, happily. Amber eyes turning on Finnegan, feeling his hand with hers. "I'd say this feels like old times..but it's abit off, I would have slapped your hand by now." Her expression shown her amusement at the thought, the young woman leanned forward and rested a tender kiss on his cheek before getting to her feet once more. "Watch Ash, please?"

Curiously Elissa peeked down the hall after Emmy and then went to start preparing the food; she was making chicken paella, much like her mum had made them so very long ago that teenage summer. "Could I wake the Short One?" The now rather hyper barely grown woman asked, refuring to Lainie. She had told the little girl she could help make dinner, after being asked.

Placing the tomatoes that needed cutting, down onto the counter after rinsing them, Elissa glanced towards the kitchen entrance for a split second. "LaaaaihLaaaaaih," She called, loudly but sweetly. "You never know..she might already be awake, the girl likes to read her 'big girl' books." Eli added, quietly innocent as if she hadn't been meaning to wake the child. Well! For now they should be celebrating! And how could she leave her god-daughter out of it?
