Vannah nodded at his question, quite thankful to get away from the dancing- One, she still wasn't so into it although she did have some fun. And two, it was begining to be awfully crowded- or atleast she thought so. "Yes..How about both?"

"But that's like saying winter takes colours away, which it doesn't, because it brings white and grey and a horde of shades in between," Shel pointed out, half jokingly as he returned her smile with a quick one of his own.

"You look relieved," he said when Vannah responded to his offer of heading back. With the last step of their dance, he took her hand and kissed it. "That's me being the gentleman," he laughed, leading her away from the dance floor, and back to the tables.
