Kami sighed as he watched Ray leave. He was right in a way; what would happen if both of them died? He went over to his drawer to get some money to go into town, but something stopped him. It sounded like they were having a shouting match downstairs. He listened for a moment, but it subsided, and he decided it was probably Ray and Kelly. They hadn't been getting along so well lately. He sighed, and continued to search for his money when something else stopped him. A tap on the shoulder, so he turned around. Instead of the Ray that he thought it might be, it was a note. He unrolled it, and it said:

Conan can you meet me in my room... Now.

He knew it was from Kelly because of the handwriting. He wondered what he should do. Ray had told him to go into town, but now Kelly wanted him in her room. She could've found something, which would be important, but it might take too long for him to go into town that day. But surely Ray wouldn't mind if Kelly had found something and needed his help? Why was everything up to him? He supposed it was probably because he was the oldest in the group, or just because he was a history professor. He took the note and his money and walked over to Kelly's room.
Knocking on her door, he asked, "Kelly, what is it? Did you find something?"
