24 – House Elf “Oh, Winky, please stop crying,” Luna pleaded calmly, seeing the elf wring her hands and take the occasional sip of butterbeer. “Have something to eat at least.”
Beside her, Neville watched the house elf in worry. “She doesn’t look like she’s coping too well.” He, personally, had accompanied Luna mainly because of the food (and to be with Luna, of course).
Dobby sighed. “We’re hoping she’ll pull through, sir. Winky just needs time.” He clapped his hands and some house elves zoomed over to present an assortment of food.
“Thanks!” Neville grabbed some pasties, but Luna kept looking at Winky.
