Claudian entered into the class and looked for an empty seat when he spotted the little Ravenclaw girl from Shackleton's office. He had had time to observe her well-thought answers and decided that she was of particular smarts. He moved fast, barely acknowledging his professor as he came in and took a seat right next to Saylie. It was, unfortunately not close enough for him to see her notes or absorb her intelligence through osmosis, so... He took his gigantic foot, hooked it around the legs of Saylie's chair and pulled her in closer to him with little effort. She would've been dwarfed dramatically by the behemouth sixth year Slytherin boy.
He smiled at her. His pale green eyes and gentle-looking features made him look quite sleepy, although he'd gotten enough sleep. He picked up his quill and made a gesture towards her, as if she should pay attention to class, although he'd done this very obvious maneuver with her chair. |
