Valencia excused herself from the table, making her way up to the girl's bedroom. She found her bag and unzipped it, finding some more comfy clothes in it; sweatpants, her older brother's t-shirt, and a hoodie that had the name 'Phoenix' on the back. She went into the bathroom, emerging seconds later in her new attire. She smiled. "Much better," she said to herself. She then went back to her bag and put her other clothes into it.
Dusty followed his sister up the stairs, but went into the boy's bedroom. He too decided to get comfortable. He found green, plaid pajama pants and a t-shirt that had been his older brother's, just like Vee had found. He quickly changed and zipped up his bag. He then walked around the upstairs, not exactly sure what he was looking for. |
