"Aww now. C'mon Moony! We all know whom you fancy. It's not like it's not obvious or anything..." Sirius rolled his eyes and mock-glared his friend. "Besides, if that's not true, I know you have at least an inkling of an idea of whom you're going to ask.."
He then scoffed dramatically, staring at Remus. "And you won't have a problem getting who you want either.. It's not always about looks you know..."
He watched James come back in, right after Lily and Jessyrah's arrival. Chuckling he pat his mate on the back. "James, you think of it all.. don't you?" Marveling over how logical James was apprehending the matter, he really did need to take some time and think over who he was going to ask. Problem was, he knew that by the time he actually did get around to asking.. the girl of his choice would be taken. Of course, this was the fear among most of the guys anyway.. which made him feel somewhat better.
Damien lifted his head slowly to look at Cecilia after the fact she had hit him with her foot. Grunting, he sighed softly and shifted in his seat. "Course it's the ball Cel.. What do you think?" He mumbled softly, quietly going back to eating, but looking up at her in expectation of a reply.
"I was actually thinking of not going..." Suddenly he admitted this outloud to her, but regretted it immediately. He knew how excited she was about the whole ordeal in the first place. Quickly, he looked back down at his plate.
