A few weeks after the last lesson, the lab opens up. There are small bags that are sealed with students' names on them. Each one will only open for that students. In the bags are the seeds of the previous lesson.

Along the tables are potting soil, fertilizer, watering cans, and several other things for young plants. There are also trays filled with small biodegradable pots, obviously made for raising seedlings.

Erikson stood at the back of the room, waiting for the students to enter and take their seeds.
