Technically technical all the time Bookaholic Kristi looked up at the sound of owls overhead. One veered off course and landed on her knees. She took the scroll of parchment the owl had been carrying and he took off. Opening the seal, Kristi read through the letter from Dumbledore. The appeal had started, Snape was doing okay, and he expected the appeal to last at least until the end of the day, if not longer.
She sighed and leaned back against the tree. She wasn't sure what to feel. In some ways it was encouraging that it was taking a while because it meant that at least they didn't dismiss the case outright. On the other hand, it meant spending even more time anxiously awaiting the verdict. Kristi got up and walked back to her room, with her head hung low. All she wanted to do was crawl back into bed and sleep until this was all over.
