It's now been reported that some copies of
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows are missing pages - in fact, from 371 to 402.
CNN even did a cover on the story, which can be viewed
here. Apparently, this is not only happening in local areas, but possibly nation-wide.
However, Scholastic quickly offered up apologies. They were also quoted saying:

“Printing and distributing 12 million copies of a book is a Herculean task, and it is not surprising that some books would have printing errors.”
