Juno turned the corner only to find an empty corridor. How quaint! How refreshing? No fristies clinging to him asking dumb questions. No 3rd years tossing dung bombs down each others pants. No 6 years giving googily eyes. No 7th years playing tonsil hockey. It was a blessing to be people free if only for a few seconds. He hadn't realized how time consuming and annoying being a Prefect could be. And given the opportunity, he's probably have turned it down. But alas, here he was. The reluctant prefect.
He rubbed his forehead a bit wishing he could go back to the Ravenclaw common room and sit and read his new pyro explosions book that Kemma had gotten him. But no. He had to go back and do homework and study. Ahh...the life of a 5th year student!
