I hope that everyone had an enjoyable and safe St. Patrick's day. I spent a few hours gardening with Zephan and causing the Black Widow spiders to run for their lives, as they were invading my garden (I detest those nasty things) Then I went over to Zephan's house for some yummy Corned Beef and cabbage, and some potatoes! I love it! If I could eat it everyday with out getting weird looks from everyone I probably would! Well maybe not everyday, that might get old, but you know what I mean

Wensday was a crazy day. Im on the swim team at my school and we had our first home meet (so i really didnt want to embarrass myself). I was swimming the 500 (which is 20 laps)(it is also one of the hard events, besides the 100 butterfly or 200 Im [sorry if you are all really confused now. Swim lingo can be hard to understand

) so i swam to the other end and stopped. It took me awhile to relize i didnt finish, so when i actually did finish my time was 3 seconds faster then my last meet. So if i didnt stop my time would have been so much better!!!!But i still got first place

Then thursday (another home meet) our team was behind in points so i really needed to get first in my 500 but i got third instead.

But we still won at ou meet by 3 points!!!

Basicly i was a little dissappointed in myself this week (even though we won both meets) and reading all your wonderful posts took it off my mind.THANK YOU!!!

I know exactly what you mean. One of my co-workers was out of the office last week, so I had to do her job as well as mine. It was really stressful to say the least. On top of that, I am trying to get a week off from work for Spring Break and I am not sure if that is going to go through, and I only have two weeks left before it starts!

Congratulations on winning you swim meat match! That is awesome even after stopping you were 3 seconds faster, that is great

I am glad that your team won the second match also, and third place isn't that bad

I can understand what your feelings of disappointment though. I know that I am a perfectionist (most of the time) and hate not being my best, especially when I know I can do better.

I am glad that my story could help keep your mind off of things and help you feel better, you are the sweetness, and I will try to post as soon as i can just for you
