And I seriously doubt anything will happen to Dudley, he's so not even important to the story other than motivation, which would explain the one dimensionality of his character.

Even if Dudley is hardly important to the storyline, I'm sure something will happen to him. Dudley's been real mean to Harry adn this is Harry's chance to get at him...
