20. Knitting Charm
Charlie Weasley headed downstairs into his living room, where his mother sat in a sofa chair, reading. She looked up and smiled. "Merry Christmas Charlie."
"Merry Christmas Mum," Charlie kissed her on the cheek.
"Do you like your sweater?"
"It's great Mum," Charlie replied, lifting his jacket to reveal his dark red knit sweater, a golden 'C' gracing his left pectoral. Charlie pulled his jacket back down. "Um, Mum, do you think you could knit a dragon into my sweater next year?"
"A dragon Charlie?" His mother put down her book. "Whatever for?"
"Well... I was thinking of going into Dragon Taming after I graduate in two years."
"Dragon Taming? But that's such a dangerous profession Charlie!"
"I know Mum. But the more I think about it, the more I want to do it."
"What about Quidditch?"
"I can't play Quidditch forever Mum."
"You can't train Dragons forever either."
"You're right Mum," Charlie agreed. "I can't." Molly looked at her son. The conviction in his eyes said enough.
"What kind of dragon would you like then?"
"Thanks Mum." Charlie smiled, kissing his mother again on the cheek before heading out to the backyard for some Quidditch.
