Susan felt slightly relieved when Clair assured her Harry didn't do anything truely bad, though she figured it from Harry anyway. After Susan heard the dramatic fate of Harry's childhood, she gasped. "Harry's parents... were, murdered?" she asked quietly. She never would have suspected, yet the way he was so resolute in the fall of Voldemort... She sighed. "Our father went to fight in the war, and Peter had taken the job of a temporary father seriously. Our mother protected us the best she could, but in the end we had to leave home. O-our mother stayed behind, while we stayed with the Professor. We barely knew who he was."
Lucy blushed as Ben bowed, and asked to escort her. She delicately took his outstretched hand, and felt her heart beat wildly in her chest. "Thank you, I would like one," she felt herself saying. She looked down at her dress when she lifted the hem from the ground, to keep from showing her blushing cheeks.
Todd felt so happy after he kissed Elphie. But when she hit her head against the wall, he figured he was wrong when he kissed her. She didn't like him after all. "I'm sorry..." he said genuinely sorry he had made her feel uncomfortable.
