Hazelle smiled as each student entered her classroom, giving a quick second glance to Lua, the spiked haired Gryffindor, then began to recite:
"we have seen his star in the East, and have come to worship him..."
She paused and looked around the room, "For years people have celebrated a holiday called Christmas, though 'pagan' in origin, it had been taken over by those who believed a baby had been born to save the world, and the first sign, these people claim, was a star that directed wisemen to the child.
"Now, this star, as they referred to it, lay over a little town called Bethlehem some 2000 years ago, and what was so unique and different about was the brightness, for it was even visible in the daylight. So, it did catch attention. Not some ordinary star, so wisemen, most likely astrologers that kept well documented astronomical records, would up and follow to where this 'star' led.
"There is some things the star also could have done to attract attention to direct them to a specific area, but let's focus on the star itself. Besides being a star, there are Five other possibilities for it. Name one."
