She gathered the tentative, fragile ingredients and walked back to her table, her mind focused firmly upon the task at hand.
Her eyes moved swiftly across the board as she prepared her cauldron and conjured the fire. She poured the water slowly into the cauldron and watched as it began to bubble. She waited until it was at a constant boil and added the salt with precision.
She placed her stirring wand into the contents and began to stir as it had been directed. Cameron gently lifted the billywig strings once the salt had been dissolved and dropped them into the liquid, stirring the correct amount of times.
Cameron was forced to tie back her hair halfway through, as it had become a nuisance and was hindering her vision. This cost her time, which was running short.
She placed the last ingredient within the solution and brought it back to a simmer for twenty minutes.
In the time, she kept her eyes fixed firmly upon the solution. The fumes however, floated into her eyes and caused them to burn. She blinked many times, and soon the twenty minuets had passed.
Cameron gladly poured the solution into two vials and walked them up to the desk, placed them down. Relieved, she walked back to her desk, whispered “Evanesco”, pointing at her cauldron, and sat down.
