They could see the flashing from inside, and they, as well as everyone else in the common room could hear them as well. “DO YOUR HOMEWORK!’ and “YOU HAVE PAST DUE HOMEWORK!” and “SLACKER!” could be heard bellowing from their bags.

Not seeing any other way around it, the boys picked up their bags and pulled out their homework, which worked instantly in shutting up the noise.

“Ah, I see my homework planners are working.” Hermione said brusquely as she came in and sat next them.
