“No there is nothing in here, sweetie.” Hermione’s father told her with a sigh as he opened the newspaper. She had asked him every single morning while she read the daily prophet. He knew she was worried, but he was getting irritated that she didn’t just simply look in the paper herself.

At that moment an owl flew into the kitchen. He was now accustomed to this happening, but he didn’t think he would every get used to it.

Hermione took the letter and read it. “Ron wants me to come spend the rest of the summer with him and his family, but I can’t go and leave you two here.” Hermione said in a sad voice.

“Yes you can!” Her father sad happily, trying not to sound too eager, “Why don’t you go pack. Right now!”
