Here's a new post for anyone thats still reading.

It took a long time to get through the tunnel. It seemed like it had expanded. It also seemed a lot wider than I remembered. Beside me, Matt had his wand out, he wasn’t using it to light the way though, I was doing that. I didn’t think anything of it at the time, but the longer we walked, the more it began to bug me. How were we walking all this distance and not getting anywhere?

*Matt’s P.O.V.*

Sure I was glad that she hadn’t said no, but was the 'just to prove I’m smarter' comment really necessary? Well, she thinks she’s smarter then me, I’ll just have to show her! So, we were just walking along and I set off a few of the spells that I had come up with myself, but she didn’t notice me mutter them. At one point, she looked puzzled and was glancing at my wand. I think she wondered why I had it out but didn’t have it lit.

Awhile ago, I had figured out how to freeze time, well just make it so that it stopped and it was very easy to catch back up with another spell. The only problem was that if you wanted time to stop for you, you weren’t able to go anywhere, and whoever was around you would also be stuck as well. I’d been using it so I could get all my homework done this year.

I’d have to tell her eventually what I’d done, but it wasn’t like she had to get dress robes. I’d snuck out the other day when her dad let me know about it before hand. He had given me money and a port-key to go and get her something really nice. That’s exactly what I did. I think she’ll love it.

*Keely’s P.O.V.*

Okay. I’ve walked through this tunnel many times and it’s never taken this long before, why?

Matt had a really mysterious look on his face, I can’t quite understand what it’s about but my gut says that he has something to do with this. What though, is the question.

I really don’t want to ask him, it just seems a little odd. I can just imagine now how it would sound. ‘I’m sorry, but I was just wondering if you had anything to do with the fact that we haven’t been getting anywhere for the last while?’ Yup, that sure does sound a little odd.

“What’d you say, Keel?” Matt said suddenly.

“I said something?”

“Yeah, you did. You were muttering on about something, I just couldn’t catch it.”

Oops, I guess I hadn’t said that in my head.

“Oh, I was just thinking about why we weren’t seeming to get anywhere, doesn’t it seem a little odd to you?” I asked.

“Ummm…”

“Do YOU know anything about this??” I almost yelled.

“Just thought I’d prove that you weren’t smarter than me,” he muttered so quietly that I had to lean really close to him just to catch it at all.

“What are you talking about, Matt?” I asked quietly.

“Uh, time spell, I made it,” he said.

“WHAT!! How are we supposed to get out of here? You made it!?”

“Yeah, awhile ago, I was behind on my homework, so I froze time so I could finish it all and not get detentions all year,” he said.

“So we are walking but aren’t going anywhere… is that right?” I asked.

“Yeah, everyone else doesn’t know we are and can’t see us.”

“Is there a time limit that we have? Or does it matter how long we stay. And, I’ve got to get dress robes for Saturday night,” I told him.

“Accio dress robes!” Matt shouted.

*Matt’s P.O.V.*

I knew that the dress robes would be able to reach me, because I’d left them sitting in a box all wrapped up. I’d hid them in my dorm after she didn’t answer me when I asked her to the ball.

I took out my wand again and started conjuring up tables, and a few candles, so that it wasn’t so gloomy in the tunnel. I had decided this all back when I was putting on the first spell that I used.
